12. The control of the optical detection of the obstacle accord-
ing to the EN 12445 standard (type D device) is performed
with the 700x300x200mm test parallelepiped with 3 black
faces and 3 polished white or mirrored faces as indicated in
figure 14 and according to chapter 7 of the EN 12445:2000
standard (or enclosure A of prEN12445:2005).
13. If a pressure sensitive device PSPE (sensitive edge) is
connected to the system, the following tests must be
performed to verify that it is functioning correctly:
Start a down manoeuvre and press the pressure sensitive
device (as in figure 15) checking that the automation per-
forms a short inversion and then stops. Repeat the test
by starting an up manoeuvre.
14. The control of the PSPE pressure sensitive device of the
F210S according to the EN 12445 standard is performed
by measuring the force at the points foreseen in chapter
5 of the EN 12445 standard, if the hazardous situations,
which have been caused by the movement of the leaf,
have been safeguarded through the limitation of the
impact force (type C).
5) Additional information
This chapter looks at particular actions or programming related to F210S.
5.1) F210S signals and status
The status and functioning of the F210S photocell are indicated by the DL1 and DL2 LEDs.
Recognising the type of signal can be useful to distinguish faults or resolve possible problems.

Action
Sensitive edge Ok
Check the cause of the sensitive edge activation
Triggering of the sensitive edge inversion
deactivation switch S (cap 3.3.1)
Only the up movement is allowed
Wait a few seconds
This phase could even last as long as one minute,
if this signal continues for more than a minute try
turning the motor off and on again
Action
Remove obstacle or align TX and RX
Signal OK
Wait a few seconds
This phase could even last as long as one minute,
if this signal continues for more than a minute try
turning the motor off and on again
