• If the device begins to overheat, turn the device OFF immediately.

caused by dropping or accidental submersion in water.
• Discontinue using the device immediately if you suspect the device to be malfunctioning, or not
operating properly. Return the device to NuFACE for examination.

• Use of accessories, transducers and cables other than those specified, except for transducers and
cables sold by the manufacturer of the Effective Lip and Eye Attachment as replacement parts for

The Effective Lip and Eye Attachment is designed for cosmetic use only and for individuals in good
health. If this is not the case for you, please consult your healthcare provider before use.
• The long-term effects of transcutaneous electrical stimulators are unknown.
• If you have suspected or diagnosed heart disease, you should follow precautions recommended by
your healthcare provider.
• Some patients may experience skin irritation or hypersensitivity due to the electrical stimulation or
conductive gel. Irritation can usually be reduced by using an alternate NuFACE conductive medium.
• Skin irritation and burns beneath the electrodes have been reported with the use of other powered
muscle stimulators. If you experience skin irritation or burning, discontinue use immediately.
• If using the Effective Lip and Eye Attachment causes persistent pain or discomfort, discontinue
use immediately.
• A slight tingling sensation may occur while using the Effective Lip and Eye Attachment. Lowering
the intensity may reduce or eliminate this sensation.
• There may be a perception of flashing lights during the use of your Effective Lip and Eye Attachment,
resulting from the stimulation of the eye area. If you notice this condition constantly without the use
of your device, consult your healthcare provider.
• Some users may experience a metallic taste in their mouth during the use of your device, resulting
from stimulation and varying sensitivity around the mouth. If you notice this condition constantly
without the use of your device, consult your healthcare provider.
• The Trinity Effective Lip and Eye Attachment is intended to be stored and used at room temperature.

The NuFACE Trinity Effective Lip and Eye Attachment is intended for cosmetic use on the face as
described. Any consequence resulting from misuse, application to other parts of the body or face,
connection to improper voltage sources, dirty spheres, expired or non-NuFACE conductive alternative,
or any other improper application is neither the responsibility of NuFACE nor its affiliates.
G E T T I N G STA R T E D
Follow these important steps before using your new attachment.
1) Follow steps 1-5 of the Trinity Manual "Getting Started" section.
2) Always firmly press the attachment release button on the back of the device to attach or detach
the treatment attachment. Refer to #4 in the "Getting To Know Your Device" section. Guide the
attachment in place and then release the button to secure the attachment to your Trinity device.
The device will not turn on if the attachment is not securely in place.
3) Remember to take a before photo of your cleansed face in a well-lit room. After your first
treatment, take an after photo and repeat the process in the same well-lit room every eight weeks
to track your results.

The Trinity Effective Lip and Eye Attachment is designed to stimulate smaller surface areas of the
face, such as the lip and eye areas. The instructions below are designed to provide users with the most
effective results when followed correctly.

Always ensure that you are correctly holding the device in either a vertical or horizontal position, as
required per the specified treatment area. Reference the Treatment Key in the Quick Start on how to
properly position the spheres during treatment.

Get ready to reduce the look of expression lines around the eyes and lips.
1) Cleanse your face with an oil-free cleanser. Men should shave before treatment – facial hair
can interfere with the conductivity of the spheres. Note: Any cream, lotion, self-tanner, and/or
oil-based products on the skin can block microcurrent.
2) Apply a NuFACE Gel Primer (sold separately) on your clean, dry skin section-by-section as you
treat. Note: Always apply a NuFACE Gel Primer when using your device and attachment. Reapply
if skin becomes dry during treatment to avoid any uncomfortable sensations.
