2.4 Incorrect purpose of use

Do not install/use the lifting device in the following environments:
• in potentially explosive or aggressive environments,
• near hot surfaces, heat sources (candles, heaters etc.),
• areas that are exposed to direct sunlight for long periods. Panelling made from
stainless steel can heat up.
Particularly the following is not permissible:
• Continuous use and overloading. Do not use the lifting device for longer than
2 minutes at a time with a full load, and do not use it for 18 minutes afterwards.
If the device is overloaded the controller will shut off.
• Installation and use of defective or non-original components.
• Use of control unit/controller to power other devices.
• Omitting components during installation.
• Conversion, maintenance or repair work on the lifting device.
