2 Safety Notes

The units (laser unit and power supply unit)
correspond to all relevant directions of the
EU and are therefore marked with

2.1 Special notes for laser units

The unit is a class 2M laser product. The
lasers have the following power and wave-
length:
CRAB-12RG
CRAB-22RG
green laser
red laser
CRAB-12B
blue laser

WARNING 1. Do not stare into the beam!
However, a short-time ex -
posure (0.25 s max.) of
emitting laser radiation is
not hazardous to the eye.
2. The laser beams must not directly be
viewed with optical instruments (e. g.
magnifying lens or telescope). The
retina may permanently be damaged.
3. Never direct the laser beam to the eyes
of persons or animals. Caution when
aligning the unit to a reflecting surface!
Ensure that the laser beam does not hit
the eye by reflection.
4. Do not open or modify the unit. A modi-
fication can result in a more hazardous
laser radiation to be emitted (higher
laser class).
5. Keep the unit out of childrenʼs reach.
