6. Instructions for Installation and Interior Fittings

Adjust the door hinge according to any necessary escape routes.
During unpacking and installation, suitable measures must be taken to secure the product against tipping over (attention must be paid to load distribution,
center of gravity).
Prior to installation, check the product for any damage.
Pay attention to a clean working environment to avoid slipping and / or falling.
Use appropriate protective equipment (e.g. gloves, safety shoes).
Position when in use: mounted to a wall, cable entry from below.
If the interior is completed with the enclosure lying on its back, the door(s) must be removed beforehand. Alternatively, doors can be securely supported at
an opening angle of max. 180°. Horizontal installation on a straight wall is a requirement for maintaining the IP protection class. To mount the enclosure to
the wall, use only wall-mounting brackets (accessories).
Direct attachment by using the bore holes in the rear is not permitted.
Alternative position:
Enclosures of the 33 series with bases / feet mounted underneath can optionally be screwed into the floor. The holes required to attach the bases / feet to
the bottom plate of the enclosure must be drilled on-site by a skilled person, diameters and distance dimensions must be taken directly from the accessory
items. The drill holes provided for wall mounting must be plugged using the plastic plugs included in the scope of delivery.
When using leveling feet (accessories), take measures to prevent tipping if necessary.
Pay attention to the maximum loads applicable to these installation options (see Technical Data)!
Existing openings or drill holes or those made at the site must be properly closed with devices or other fittings that are at least of the same IP protection
class as the enclosure.
Prior to putting the enclosure into service, the mechanical functions must be checked, in particular if the door closes properly. A visual inspection of the
seals which are relevant for the maintaining the protection class as well as of the protective conductor must be carried out.
Use the enclosed plastic plugs (see accessories) to close unused drilling holes in the rear panel, the frame and the bottom.
The position of the key (standard: 3 mm double-mandrel) indicates if the door is securely locked.
Locked: 90° to the nearest outer edge of the door.
Open: Parallel to the nearest outer edge of the door.
