CAUTION:
• Only the supplied thermostat may be used. No other regulator
should be used under any circumstances!
• Always set the temperature control (7) to "OFF" (off), before attach-
ing or removing the thermostat.
The appliance may otherwise become damaged.
• Ensure that the thermostat is correctly plugged into the appliance.
The temperature control (7) must face up.
• When removing the thermostat, pull on the plug, not on the cable!
• Do not apply excessive force when plugging in or removing the
thermostat.
• Please ensure that the mains lead (9) does not come into contact
with the hot sections of the appliance.
• Do not operate the appliance with an external timer or separate
remote control system.
• Never pour water into hot fat.
• Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning it.
• Keep the temperature sensor (8) and the plug pins clean.
• This appliance and the mains lead (9) are not intended for immer-
sion in water during cleaning. Refer to the instruction provided in
chapter "Cleaning".
• Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Please contact authorized
personnel. If the mains lead (9) of this appliance is damaged, it must
be replaced by a special connection cable available from the manu-
facturer or its customer service.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
