SUPPLY AND CONNECTIONS
Once the column has been fixed on the base of the SPOT LIFT, proceed as follows in order to connect the
compressed air and the hydraulics :
• Connect the hydraulic flexible cable to the pump and to the cylinder. Check that the connectors are correctly
fastened (Tightening Torque : 40 N.m), with the presence of the 2 seals as shown on the photograph
below, at each extremity of the flexible cable.
• Connect the pump to the compressed air supply flexible. Make sure that the input pressure does not exceed 8
bar. Check that the pneumatic network is equipped with a dryer, a filter, and a lubricator.
• Replace the pump oil tank cap by the specific cap with oil level gauge provided (BEWARE ! there is a hole in
the cap of the oil level gauge, to allow air to exit the pump tank; do not block this hole).
• At the first use, some air is trapped inside the hydraulic flexible cable and the cylinder. It is necessary to
make this air go out by making a few up and down cycles with the fork of the lift without any load (no load
on the lifting tool).
• Make sure there is no leakage of oil by lifting a load at middle height.
