Description
OFFSET
Enables the offset function when set to on (default: OFF). When enabled, the selected
offset value is added to each reading. To enter an offset value, set to ON then push back
to exit the SETUP menu. Select SET OFFSET and enter an offset value (default: 0.0).

FACTOR
Enables the factor function when set to on (default: OFF). When enabled, the selected
factor value is used as a slope to the turbidity reading. To enter a factor value, set to ON
then push back to exit the SETUP menu. Select SET FACTOR and enter a factor value
(default: 1.0).
SET FACT CAL Sets the calibration settings to the factory defaults.
3.2 Calibrate with StablCal vials with RFID
Items to collect:
• TU5300 or TU5400 instrument with RFID functionality
• RFID calibration vials:
• 20 NTU StablCal vial with RFID
• 600 NTU StablCal vial with RFID
Or
• StablCal calibration set with RFID (LZY835) which includes 10 NTU, 20 NTU, and 600 NTU
There are four procedures to calibrate the instrument with StablCal vials with RFID based on the
selected calibration settings:
• Set the CAL CURVE setting to STABLE CAL 0-40 NTU and the VER AFTER CAL setting to OFF
for a 1-point calibration without verification. Refer to

• Set the CAL CURVE setting to STABLE CAL 0-40 NTU and the VER AFTER CAL setting to ON
for a 1-point calibration with verification. Refer to

Note: Although the MENU GUIDED calibration setting is enabled, the controller display will not show guidance
during the RFID calibration. The LED and the button on the instrument are the guidance during the RFID
calibration. Refer to the applicable calibration procedure.

This option is only available on ISO models of the instrument. This option only shows when the
CAL CURVE setting is set to STABLCAL or FORMAZIN.
