5 Adjusting the angle between drive unit and
bearing area
Risk of injury.
Turn off the machine and disconnect it from the mains supply.
Always switch off the machine before changing the angle between the drive
unit and base of the cutting tool.
How to change the standard 90° angle between the drive unit and contact area to the left or to the
right side:
o Turn off the machine and disconnect it from the mains supply.
o
Press the button to unlock the rotatable casing
the required direction while securing the cutting tool.
o Release the button and check if the locking device of the drive unit is latched (7 different
positions are possible).
o Restart the machine.

Installing and changing the cutting tool

Risk of injury.
Turn off the machine and disconnect it from the mains supply.
Only install the cutting tool if the machine is disconnected from the mains
supply.
o Turn off the machine and disconnect it from the mains supply.
o Loosen and remove the knurled
lower cover of the cutting tool / protective cover
o Remove the extractor
o Release the cutting tool
