Remove the plastic protective plugs from both plumbing connections.
Connect the fitting supply to the hose feeding the inlet of your application.
Connect the fitting retrun to the hose from the outlet of your application.
Clamp all connections.
Connect the ball valve in accessories to drain position of the chiller and turn ball valve off.
Never connect the fitting to your tap water supply or any water pressure source.
It is important to keep the distance between the unit and the instrument being cooled as short as possible. Tubing
should be straight and without bends. If diameter reductions must be made, they should be made at the inlet and
outlet of your application, not at the chiller.
SML 10 à 70
The plumbing connections are located on the rear of the unit and labeled supply and return. The connections are
1/2" inch female pipe thread.

NOTE: On units equipped with DP pumps, ensure your plumbing is rated to withstand 5.7Bar at the highest
operating temperature.
Before starting the chiller, fulfill the water tank with purified water and stay about 1 hour to have the pump to be
lubricated enough.

When you want to change the fitting, shut down the unit at first, then put a cup on the ground, and disconnect the
fitting on your application, let the fluids in reservoir flow out into the cup, and disconnect the fitting on our unit.
Now you may connect your application with the unit be new fittings. Then refill the reservoir with correct fluids.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
REFER TO THE ENCLOSED ELECTRICAL DIAGRAM
Check that power supply voltage and frequency complies with the values indicated on the chiller. Use a suitable
power lead for the total power and voltage of the equipment. To comply with electrical rules, the power lead must
be correctly sized, and protected by a circuit breaker of suitable capacity.
FLUIDS
Never fill the unit with a flammable or corrosive fluid. Do not use coolant car. Trade antifreeze contains silicates
that can damage the pump seals. The use of car antifreeze will void the warranty.
For the SML 50 and SML 70, Add 10 liters of pure propylene glycol in the reservoir to avoid all danger of frost.
Repeat for each filling the tank.
Fluids must be pure, without impurities, it may damage the pump. The use of dirty fluid will void the warranty. The
fluid should be changed every six months.
Note: For use at low temperatures, with a deposit of less than 5 ° C, using asuitable antifreeze (contact
our technical service). Any malfunction due to improperuse of a fluid is not covered by warranty.
