Automatic launch of PhoTags Express
1. Turn the camera on and then connect the camera to your computer via the USB cable provided.
2. PhoTags Express will automatically launch. If it does not automatically appear, follow the instructions in the
'Manual launch of PhoTags Express' section below.
3. When the 'Get Photos from the connected Camera / Removable Media' screen appears, select 'OK' to
download your files. A window will appear and you will have the choice to:
– click on 'Register Online' and then fill in the information required. The Main Menu will open and this window
will not appear anymore.
– click on the 'Continue' button. The Main Menu will open and this window will appear at your next use.
4. The 'Get Photos Wizard – Choose Photos to Acquire' window will appear. Either click on the 'Select All' button,
or manually select and de-select the photos you want to download by clicking on the tick box of each photo.
Click on the 'Next' button to continue.
5. You can sort the photos by name, keyword and categories. Click on the 'Next' button to continue.
6. Choose where to place your photos. If you select the 'Select a folder name were the photos are to be placed'
option, click the 'Browse' button to select the destination folder where you want all your photos to be saved.
7. Click the 'Finish' button to transfer the photos from your camera to the destination folder.
Manual launch of PhoTags Express
1. Click on the 'PhoTags Express' icon on your desktop.
2. A window will appear and you will have the choice to:
– click on 'Register Online' and then fill in the information required. The Main Menu will open and this window
will not appear anymore.
– click on 'Continue'. The Main Menu will open and this window will appear at
your next use.
3. Click on the 'Get Photos' button in the Main Menu and then click 'Dual Mode
Camera' driver from the list of Active Devices on the left of the screen.
Note: Make sure you have selected the 'Dual Camera' driver or you won't be able
to download your pictures.
4. Select the 'Custom' or the 'Express' copy method and click on the 'Next' button.
5. With the 'Custom' method, you can sort the photos by name, keyword and
categories. Click on the 'Next' button to continue. With the Express copy method, you will go directly to the
following step.
6. Choose where to place your photos. If you select the 'Select a folder name where the photos are to be placed'
option, click the 'Browse' button to select the destination folder where you want all your photos to be saved.
7. Click the 'Finish' button to transfer the photos from your camera to the destination folder.
Manual downloading
1. Turn on the camera and then connect it to your computer via the USB cable provided.
2. Select 'Copy pictures to a folder on my computer' and click 'OK'.
3. Follow the computer's onscreen commands until you are notified that downloading is complete.
OR, you can follow step 1 above and then:
1. Click on the 'Start' button in Windows.
2. Click on the 'My computer' icon.
3. Click on 'Removable storage device' to view the images. The images are stored in a subfolder called 'DCIM'.
4. You can copy and paste the images into any directory you choose.
