Remove the handlebar clamp on the stem by

removing all bolts (allen key 4 mm).
Make sure the lower bolt gaps are even and

that the handlebar is correctly centered in the
stem. The guide lines on the handlebar will
help with this. All bolts should be torqued to
the spec provided by the manufacturer of the
handlebar and/or stem.

RACEFACE AEFFECT
Place the handlebar and attach it to the stem
2.1.2
(allen key 4mm).
First tighten the top bolts of the face plate to
2.1.3
the indicated torque value. Make sure no gap
is visible (zero gap). Then tighten the lower
face plate bolts.
