There are two modes for the Plasmacluster Ion function: Plasmacluster Ion (toilet bowl) and Plasmacluster Ion
(room).

Plasmacluster Ion (Toilet Bowl)

The Plasmacluster function releases positive and negative ions into the bowl to eliminate floating mold spores and
deposited bacteria inside the bowl. It is also effective to the back surface of the toilet seat, which are the areas that
cannot be reached by the flushing water of the toilet. This function also suppresses the generation of odor by
eliminating the odor-causing bacteria. Plasmacluster ion (toilet bowl) works as follows:
• Plasmacluster ion (toilet bowl) starts to operate intermittently when the Plasmacluster function is set to [BOWL]
and the toilet seat lid is closed.

Intermittent operation
• When the user is detected by the toilet while Plasmacluster ion (toilet bowl) is activated, this function stops
temporarily as shown in
• When the user is detected and the toilet seat lid is opened (by auto seat/lid open and close function, or by user)
while the Plasmacluster ion (toilet bowl) is activated, blue light illuminates inside the bowl for a specific period of
time.
• When the toilet is flushed while Plasmacluster ion (toilet bowl) is activated, blue light illuminates inside the bowl
for a specific period of time.
• When the toilet seat lid is closed while Plasmacluster ion (toilet bowl) is activated, blue light blinks inside the
bowl.
• Plasmacluster ion (toilet bowl) starts to operate intermittently again after closing the toilet seat lid.
