7. Connecting to the power supply
WARNING !
The machine must be connected to the power
supply using a trip switch with the following
features:
Trip switch
NB Periodic checks of the efficiency of the trip
switches are not necessary in order to ensure
correct functioning, as this can be done using
the relevant button on the front of the device.
-
Ensure that the conductor section of the power
supply cable is the correct size for the start-up
current and the length. For cables up to 50 m
long, a section of 4 mm is sufficient.
-
Before connecting the machine to the electrical
sockets, ensure that the voltage of the line is the
same as the voltage indicated on the tag on the
machine.
-
Only connect this machine to power supplies
that are efficiently earthed. If in doubt, do not
connect this machine up.
WARNING !
Each time the machine is connected to the
power supply, check that the rotation direction
of the motor, indicated on the disc guard, is
correct.
ALWAYS TEST THE ROTATION DIRECTION
WITH THE CUTTING DISC REMOVED.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, USE
THE MACHINE IN THE OPPOSITE ROTATION
DIRECTION TO THE ONE INDICATED.
In the case of rotation of the motor in the
opposite direction, invert the two phase pins
inside the power supply plug, as indicated
below:
-
using a slotted screwdriver, press the
relevant point and rotate the two phase pins
(photo 10).
-
check that the rotation direction is correct.
