Hard water can cause limestone deposits to form in and on many functioning parts
if the machine is used regularly. This reduces brewing flow and power of the ma-
chine and impairs the quality of the coffee. We therefore recommend descaling the
machine with a mixture of water and SOLIPOL
appears on the display, at least every 1–2 months, depending on water hardness.
Please follow the descaling instructions. If the machine is descaled too little or too
late, the coffee quality suffers and the machine could be permanently damaged. The
removal of defects that are caused by delayed descaling is not covered by warranty
and has to be charged for.
Note: We recommend using exclusively SOLIPOL
refuse to take any responsibility for damages caused by the use of other descaling
agents.
Caution: Should the descaling agent – even in a diluted form – splash or drip onto
the appliance, please wipe it off immediately to prevent damage to the surface of
the appliance.
If this notice is displayed, descaling has to be conducted!
Note: Calculate approx. 1,5 hours for the full descaling process and follow these
instructions.
Should you have just used your machine, you have to switch your appliance
off and let it cool down for at least one hour before descaling it in any case.
Warning: Never submerge the power cord, the power plug or the appliance in water
or any other liquid.
