Basic operation

Jolly operation mode


When using the Jolly operation mode, the chronothermostat stops
the current operation mode and adjusts the heating or cooling
system in order to maintain the Jolly temperature during the entire
preset time (from 1 hour to 99 days and 23 hours, with one-hour
intervals). Afte this period of time — displayed with a countdown
- the chronothermostat returns to the previous operation mode.
Press the JOLLY key to select Jolly .
The value of the Jolly temperature and the duration of the ope-
ration mode can be changed with the rotating selector switches
located on the right side of the chronothermostat.
To change the temperature level, use the bottom rotating se-
lector switch. The temperature can be changed from 2 to 40°C,
with 0.1°C intervals.
To set the hours («h») of the duration in Jolly operation mode,
use the middle rotating selector switch. The hours can vary from
0 to 23.
To set the days («d») of the duration in Jolly operation mode, use
the top rotating selector switch.
The days can vary from 0 to 99.

The Jolly mode can be stopped at any time by selecting any
operation mode.
The Jolly operation mode can be used, for instance, to:
• save energy by lowering the temperature when no one is in the
house at the weekends or during your winter holidays, hence
the certainty of having the right temperature when you get back
home;
• extend the normal heating or cooling time in the evening, for
example when you have guests.

OFF mode


The Off mode can be enabled by pressing OFF.
Winter operation mode
The chronothermostat adjusts the operation of the heating system
to maintain the Antifreeze temperature, so as to decrease the
power consumption and to prevent damage that can be caused
by extreme outside temperatures.
The Antifreeze temperature
can be varied from 2°C to 7°C,
with 0.1°C intervals, by using
the bottom rotating selector
switch. If the temperature is set
lower than 2°C, the system will
completely turn off, hence lo-
sing the antifreeze protection.
Summer operation mode
The system will completely turn off. "OFF" will be displayed with
no temperature profile.
