u Power on/off button
Switches the appliance on or off.
v Hold button
Freezes the current value on the display.
w °C/°F button
Displays the measured temperature in degrees Celsius
(°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
x Clock button
Press the „Clock" button to set the time and the date.
First, press and hold the button for 2 seconds to access
this mode. The day display starts to flash. Press the but-
ton again to choose between time and date. Press one
of the two symbols „p" or „q" to increase or decrease
the number which is flashing on the display. As soon as
the desired setting has been attained, press the „ESC"
button to exit from the mode and save the set value.
y Alarm button
Press the button once to activate the alarm. The alarm
symbol appears on the display. An alarm sounds as
soon as the measured value exceeds the user-defined limit
value. Press the button again to exit from or deactivate the
alarm mode.
Press and hold the button to change the setting.
1. Setting the alarm value
The set alarm threshold value starts to flash. Press „p"
or „q" to increase or decrease the value respectively.
Afterwards, press the „ESC" button to exit from the
mode and apply the value set.

You must still be in setup mode for the alarm threshold va-
lue in order to be able to change this setting!
Therefore, after setting the alarm threshold value, do not
press ESC; instead, press Alarm again briefly and the sym-
bols
rease or decrease the value respectively. Press Alarm again

Press this button to increase the value, depending on the
