8 – Operation
Brief operation switch
Push the On/Off switch (1) until the
switching noise is heard and hold in this
position.
Brief operation switch
Release the On/Off switch, only set the
machine down when it has come to a
standstill.
Continuous operation switch
Push the On/Off switch as far as it will go
and allow it to engage.
Continuous operation switch
Push on the rear of the switch to release
the lock and allow the switch to slip back
into place. Only set the machine down
when it has come to a standstill.
NOTICE! Before you insert the
plug into the socket, make sure
that the On/Off switch is not locked
into the continuous operation position!
9 – How to use
Using the biscuit jointer (Figure 8)
After successfully setting the device, bring
it up to the workpiece. The milling plate
(8) has centre markings (14) for the
vertical and horizontal centring of the
milling disc. As soon as orientation is
complete and the biscuit size has been
set, switch on the tool and carry out the
cut with moderate pressure. The skid will
retract and expose the milling disc in
accordance with the selected biscuit size.

Switch the tool off again after each use.
Dust collection mechanism
ON <– The electrical tool has a
mechanism that enables you to
collect sanding dust.
• Slide the dust collection bag opening
as far as it will go on to the exhaust
–> OFF opening (17) of the housing and secure
using the small locking screw (19) on
the underside of the skid. The bag is
closed using a zip. Emptying the bag
frequently increases the exhaust
performance.
ON <–
• Pull the plug out of the socket before
doing so!
NOTICE! Wood dust is dangerous!
–> OFF Therefore, always work with the
dust collection mechanism attached!
10 – Maintenance and
environmental
protection
Keep the ventilation slots free and remove
dust regularly with a brush. Clean the
housing with a damp cloth only - do not
use solvents! Then dry well. Lightly oil the
skid above the filling opening (13) to
ensure it remains moveable without
jamming. After completing work, wash the
emptied dust collection bag in mild, hand-
hot, soapy water and dry well.
Regularly clean the dust from the housing,
ventilation slots and moving parts and, if
need be, wipe with a damp cloth when
the plug is pulled. Never submerge
electrical machinery in water. Additional
notes can be found in the operating
instructions. Lightly oil the guide roller for
the saw blade from time to time.
