 Clean the rice cooker carefully after each use.
 If there is any rice residue cooked onto the pot insert, fill the pot insert with hot
soapy water and leave it to stand for half an hour before cleaning the pot.
 Clean the housing inside and out with a damp cloth soaked in soapy water.
 The pot insert and lid can be washed in warm soapy water. Do not use any
abrasive cleaners or steel wool. Scratches and dents can degrade the contact
with the hotplate.
 Ensure that no vinegar or salt residue remains in the pot insert as this could lead
to corrosion.
