The end of the measuring time is signaled with beep sound and the
measured value appears on the display.

Read the recorded temperature from the LCD display. The backlight
shows red for fever or green for normal.
NOTE
≥37.5 °C: red backlight.
If the temperature measurement result is 37.5 °C or above, the red back-
light will light for 5 seconds.
<37.5°C: green backlight.
If the temperature measurement is below 37.5 °C, the green backlight
will light for 5 seconds.

The thermometer will automatically turn off in 1 minute after you stop
using it.

As the ear canal is slightly curved,
you have to pull the ear slightly up
and backwards before inserting the
sensor tip. This is important so that
the sensor tip can be pointed direct-
ly at the ear drum.
