13. Troubleshooting
By purchasing this device, you have acquired a product designed to the state of the art and operationally
reliable. Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe how to eliminate possible errors here:
Always observe the safety information.
No sound is audible:
• A device in the playback chain is not turned on.
• The wrong input was selected on the amplifier.
• The volume controller at the amplifier is set to minimum.
The CD is not played back:
• The CD has not been put into the tray properly.
• The CD is dirty.
• The inserted CD is not an audio or MP3 CD.
The CD skips during playback:
• The CD is dirty.
• The CD is scratched.
• The CD has a pressing defect.
• The device is subject to vibration when playing.
One channel does not work:
• A cinch cable has come loose from the CD player or the amplifier input.
• A speaker cable has come loose at the amplifier.
A drone is audible:
• The cinch cable is defective.
Repairs other than those described above must only be carried out by an authorised specialist.
