11. Setting Time

The rotary control "TIME" (12) can be used to set the time for which the halogen lamp
remains activated after the PIR motion detector recognised a temperature change
in the surveillance area.
Choose between the setting 20 seconds ("20s"), 1 minute ("1min") and 5 minutes
("5min").

12. Setting Brightness

Use the rotary control "LUX" (13) to determine the brightness threshold as of which
the halogen lamp is activated.
Turn it clockwise to the right (towards the moon symbol) to activate the lamp only
when it becomes darker; turn it counterclockwise (towards the sun symbol) to
activate it earlier.

13. Replacing the SD Memory Card

Before the SD memory card is replaced (e.g. to check that the surveillance area is correct after initial commissioning
or if you want to search videos for unauthorized access to the surveillance area), first set the operating mode to
"SC04"; see chapter 10.
If the memory card is pulled out during writing access (video storage), the file system on the SD memory
card may be destroyed and the recorded videos are lost. In this case, the SD memory card must be re-
formatted (FAT/FAT32 file system).
Turn out the cover flap screw (10) to replace the memory card and then remove the cover flap.
Push the memory card into the memory card slot by about 2-3 mm; a spring then pushes it out a bit. Now the memory
card can be taken out easily.
Insert a new SD memory card into the memory card slot so that it latches.
You can use SD memory cards of up to 2GByte and SDHC memory cards at up to 32GByte (file system
FAT/FAT32, but not NTFS).
Close the cover flap (10) carefully.
If no SD memory card is inserted, a warning sound is emitted every hour (duration: approx. 10 seconds).
