7. Do not permit any person under the age of
16 to use this machine (the minimum age for
usage can be regulated differently in different
areas).
8. Keep persons, in particular children and pets
away from the machine.
9. Never operate the machine indoors but al-
ways only in the open. Overbuilt and high-
walled paths may only be cleared when safe
operation is possible. Pay particular attention
to windows and persons in the proximity in
order to exclude injury to persons and dam-
age to property.
10. Never direct the machine towards persons.
11. Do not use the snowplough near glass, motor
vehicles, windows etc. without correctly ad-
justing the angle of the snow ejector.
12. For the work or for maintenance always wear
gloves, safety glasses, tight-fitting winter
clothes and strong shoes with profiled soles.
13. Never allow body parts or clothing near rotat-
ing machine parts.
14. Use the machine only where there is suffi-
cient light. Always hold the machine and the
handles tightly. Never run with the machine.
15. Use the machine only for light, loose snow
(new snow) up to a maximum depth of about
25 cm.
16. Frozen snow and ice must not be cleared
with this machine.
17. Allow the motor to cool down before storing
in an enclosed room.
18. Operate the machine only in faultless condi-
tion as established by the manufacturer and
delivered.
19. Use only original spare parts from the manu-
facturer or parts from a different supplier but
approved by the manufacturer.
20. Allow the machine to be repaired only at a
qualified workshop.
21. Do not make adjustments while the machine
is running (unless the adjustments are rec-
ommended directly by the manufacturer).
22. The safety gap to the rotating parts defined
by the guide bar must always be assured.
23. Stop the motor before moving it over surfaces
such as pavements or yard entrances which
should not be cleared. Operate the machine
always only in a faultless and safe condition.

objects which could be taken up and ejected
