TROUBLESHOOTING

Refer to the following instructions to check and correct any failure before contacting service
personnel.
SYMPTOM
Scale does not turn on
CHARGE indicator does not
turn on
Questionable weight or
the scale does not zero
The display shows "OL"
The display shows "UL"
The display shows "LO BAT"
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Dead Battery
1. Bad electricity socket
2. Bad power supply
1. External object
interfering with the
weighing tray
2. The weighing tray is not
placed properly
3. The display did not show
"0-00.0" before weighing
4. Scale is not placed on a
stable surface
5. Scale is out of calibration
The load on the scale
exceeds the capacity
The scale is in under-load
condition
The rechargeable battery is
low

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Connect scale to power
source
1. Use a different socket
2. Replace adapter
1. Remove all objects/infant
from the weighing tray
2. Place the tray in its
proper place
3. Remove infant, zero the
scale and begin
weighing process again
4. Place the scale on a
stable surface and begin
weighing process again
5. Check weight with
known weight value
Remove the excess weight
and use the scale according
to its limits
Make sure the weighing tray
is placed on the base
Recharge the battery
according to instructions
