quenz des Low-Cut-Filters: Regelbereich 20 Hz
(SUBSONIC) bis 120 Hz; unerwünschte Signal-
anteile unterhalb der eingestellten Frequenz
(z. B. Trittschall, Brummen) werden unterdrückt.
4 Regler SUB CROSSOVER zum Einstellen der
oberen Trennfrequenz für den Subwoofer
5 Regler BASS BOOST FREQUENCY zum Ein-
stellen der Frequenz für die Bassanhebung
6 Regler BASS BOOST LEVEL zum Einstellen der

1 Operating Elements and Connections
1.1 Preamplifer (fig. 1)
1 Selector switch CROSSOVER/BYPASS for the
signal at the outputs OUTPUT LEFT and RIGHT/
MONO (8)
Button disengaged (high pass switched on):
Sat Out signal for satellite speakers;
the crossover frequency of the high pass can
be adjusted with the control SAT CROSS-
OVER (2)
Button pressed (high pass bridged):
unfiltered Line Out signal for full range speak-
ers
2 Control SAT CROSSOVER for adjusting the low-
er crossover frequency of the high pass for the
outputs OUTPUT LEFT and RIGHT/MONO (8)
Note: The control is only active if the selector
switch CROSSOVER/BYPASS (1) is dis-
engaged.
3 Control LOW CUT for adjusting the limit fre-
quency of the low cut filter: control range 20 Hz
(SUBSONIC) up to 120 Hz; unwanted signal
parts below the adjusted frequency (e. g. sub-
sonic sound, humming) are suppressed.
4 Control SUB CROSSOVER for adjusting the
upper crossover frequency for the subwoofer
5 Control BASS BOOST FREQUENCY for adjust-
ing the frequency for the bass boost
6 Control BASS BOOST LEVEL for adjusting the
bass boost up to 6 dB as a maximum
7 Control PHASE for adjusting the phase for the
subwoofer

1.2.1 Front side (fig. 2)

2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das komplette Verstärkermodul (Vor- und Endstufe)
entspricht der Richtlinie für elektromagnetische
Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG und der Niederspan-
nungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.
Achtung! Das Verstärkermodul wird mit Netzspan-
nung (230 V~) betrieben. Achten Sie beim Einbau in
eine Lautsprecherbox unbedingt darauf, dass die
Endstufe nicht mit der Netzspannung verbunden
ist. Den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen!
Anderenfalls besteht die Gefahr eines lebensge-
fährlichen Schlages.
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt die folgenden Punkte:
Das Verstärkermodul ist nur zur Verwendung im
Innenbereich geeignet. Schützen Sie es vor Tropf-
und Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
Nach dem Einbau des Moduls wird die in der Laut-
sprecherbox entstehende Wärme durch die Kühl-
rippen (18) abgegeben. Decken Sie diese deshalb
nicht ab. Stellen Sie die Box nie direkt an eine
Wand; halten Sie einen entsprechenden Abstand
ein.
Nehmen Sie das Modul nicht in Betrieb bzw. zie-
hen Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der Steck-
dose:
1. wenn sichtbare Schäden am Modul oder an der
Netzanschlussleitung vorhanden sind,
2. wenn nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der
Verdacht auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. wenn Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Lassen Sie das Modul in jedem Fall in einer Fach-
werkstatt reparieren.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie am Kabel aus der
Steckdose, fassen Sie immer am Stecker an.
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trocke-
nes, weiches Tuch, niemals Wasser oder Chemi-
kalien.
Wird das Modul zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig
montiert, falsch angeschlossen bzw. bedient oder
nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung für
daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschä-
2 Safety Notes
The complete amplifier module (preamplifier and
power amplifier) corresponds to the directive 89/336/
EEC for electromagnetic compatibility and to the low
voltage directive 73/23/EEC.
Attention! The amplifier module is supplied with
hazardous mains voltage (230 V~). When installing
it into a speaker cabinet, ensure in any case that
the power amplifier is not connected to the mains
voltage. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains
socket! Otherwise there is the risk of an electric
shock dangerous to life.
It is essential to observe the following items:
The amplifier module is suitable for indoor use
only. Protect it against dripping water and splash
water, high air humidity, and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
After the installation of the module, the heat being
generated within the speaker cabinet is dissipated
via the cooling fins (18). Therefore, do not cover
them. Never place the cabinet directly to a wall;
keep a corresponding distance.
Do not set the module into operation, and imme-
diately disconnect the mains plug from the mains
socket if
1. there is visible damage to the module or to the
mains cable,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or
similar accident,
3. there are malfunctions.
The module must in any case be repaired by
skilled personnel.
Never pull the mains cable to disconnect the
mains plug from the mains socket, always seize
the plug.
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no
means chemicals or water.
No guarantee claims for the module and no liabil-
ity for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the module is used for
other purposes than originally intended, if it is not
