Cable glands unsuitable for low ambient temper-
atures. Explosion hazard! Ignoring this message
will lead to serious injuries or death. With ambient
temperatures < -40°C, install the cable entry in
such a way that it is protected against mechanical
load. Alternatively, use a special cable entry which
is suited for this task.

Open drill holes and unused cable entries. Explo-
sion hazard! Ignoring this message will lead to
serious injuries or death. Securely close open drill
holes with certified sealing plugs and unused cable
entries with certified plugs.

Untight if mounted without an actuator. Electric
shock hazard! Ignoring this message will lead to
serious injuries or death. Only operate with an
actuator.
Mount the command and signalling device on an even surface. Observe
the instructions in the standards EN ISO 12100 and EN ISO 14120. With
ambient temperatures < -40°C, install the cable entry in such a way
that it is protected against mechanical load. Alternatively, use a spe-
cial cable entry which is suited for this task. Also observe the degree
of protection of the applied cable entry. Securely close unused cable
entries and drill holes with certified sealing plugs according to Direc-
tive 2014/34/EU.

- Use device only within the permitted ambient temperature range
(see product label and technical data).

- WARNING - DO NOT OPEN WHEN ENERGIZED
Cleaning

When cleaning: observe degree of protection IP66.
- Use a damp cloth to clean devices in explosive areas. This prevents
electrostatic charge.
- In case of damp cleaning: use water or mild, non-scratching,
non-chafing cleaners.
- Do not use aggressive cleaners or solvents.
Disposal
- Observe national, local and legal regulations concerning disposal.
- Recycle each material separately.
Maintenance, repair and service
