Troubleshooting
Symptom
Tool operates normally but does
not drive the staples to flush.
The staples is driven to flush
at normal speed, but when
increasing speed it is not driven
to flush.
The staple is driven too deeply
into the work piece.
A staple is jammed.
Tool operates normally, but no
staple is driven.
If you cannot solve the problem, the tool must be sent to your TJEP dealer. Never use a damaged tool.
Repairs must be performed only by professionals trained in the repair of TJEP tools.
Solution
Adjust the depth of drive setting to the deepest.
Maximise the air pressure (max pressure is specified on the tool)
The wood is too hard for the chosen length of staples.
Send the tool to a service centre. near you.

Use an air supply hose with a larger inner diameter.
Use a shorter air supply hose.
Move the nozzle downwards to reduce the driving depth.
Reduce the air pressure.
Remove the air supply. Remove the jammed staple.
Make sure that the staples are placed correctly in the magazine. The staples
must be able to move freely back and forth. If necessary, clean the magazine
for any possible remains or jammed staples. Make sure that the airsupply is
sufficient. Use only fasterners recommended by the producer.
