Health-Specifi c Instructions

Only use the device if you have no physical illnesses or ailments.
■
The following people may use the device only after consultation with their doctor:
– people who wear a pacemaker or similar medical implants;
– people with heart disease or who suffer from epilepsy;
– people who have back complaints or spinal disorders;
– people who suffer from osteomyelitis, bone infl ammation (in particular if the spinal
column is damaged) or from osteoporosis;
– women who are pregnant or have just given birth;
– people who suffer from circulation problems or thrombosis;
– people who have undergone an operation for which the treatment is not yet
complete;
– people with physical abnormalities;
– people who have a malignant tumour.

If you are unsure whether the device may be used, consult a responsible doctor.
■
Do not use the device near to or on injuries, swelling, skin irritations, infected skin,
warts, fungal infections, abnormal changes in the skin or body parts with no feeling.
■
The device must not be used for longer than 30 minutes continuously. Do not mas-
sage one group of muscles for longer than 15 minutes.
■
If you experience an unpleasant sensation while you are using the device, stop per-
forming the massage immediately!
■
Do not fall asleep while you are using the device!
■
Do not use the device before going to bed. The massage has a stimulating effect,
which may lead to problems getting to sleep.
Dangers of Injury
■
Keep children and animals away from the device and packaging material. There is a
risk of injury and suffocation!
■
Do not insert any fi ngers or other body parts into the device. Do not open the zip
during use.
■
The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of children and animals.
The mains cable must also be kept out of the reach of children and animals. Other-
wise they might use the cable to pull the device down on themselves.
■
Connected cables must not present a trip hazard.
Danger of Electric Shock
■
Use and store the device only in dry indoor rooms.
■
The device should only be connected to a properly installed plug socket with safety
contacts. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that
the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match
the technical data of the device. Only use suitable extension cables whose technical
data is the same as that of the device.
■
Never immerse the device, mains cable or mains adapter in water or other liquids and
ensure that they cannot fall into water or become wet.
