according to the device being used, reduces the chance of personal
injury.
Prevent devices being started by accident. Make sure that the switch
is on the OFF position before you plug the device in. Never carry
electrical devices with your finger on the switch and never put the
plug in the socket if the device is turned on as this can lead to
accidents.
Make sure that you never lose your balance; always keep two feet
firmly on the ground. This will enable you to maintain control of
electrical devices in unexpected circumstances.
Make sure that you wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves out of the
vicinity of hot components.
Use and maintenance of electrical devices
 Do not exert excessive force on your electrical device. Use the right
tools for your specific requirements. If you use the right tool for the
job, you will conduct the task quicker and more effectively if it is
completed at the speed for which the device is designed.
 Never use electrical devices on which the ON/OFF switch is not
working. All electrical devices that cannot be turned on and off using
the switch are dangerous and must be repaired.
 Pull the plug from the socket and let the device cool down before you
make any changes to electrical devices, change accessories or store
the electrical device. If you stick to these preventative safety
measures, you will prevent the device from being started
accidentally.
 Store electrical equipment that is not being used out of reach of
children and do not let people who are not familiar with the device or
these instructions use it. Electrical devices are dangerous in the
hands of inexperienced users.
 Make sure your electrical devices are well maintained. Check to
ensure that the device is assembled correctly. Check whether any
parts are defective or for other elements that could impact upon the
functioning of the device. Have any damaged devices repaired before
use. Many accidents are caused by badly maintained devices.
 Use all electrical devices and accessories as given in the instructions
and for the intended purpose(s). Be aware of the working conditions
and the task to be completed. Using electrical devices for tasks for
which they are not intended could lead to hazardous situations.
