To determine the offset value:
Just use the sensor moving in the presence of noise to measure.
a - Select a value Leq 1 min with the encoder 5.
b - Position the sensor at the desired measurement level (often the noisiest place). Wait 2
minutes. Note the value of the display (for example 95 dB)
c - Place the sensor where it will be fixed.
Wait at least 2 minutes. Note the value of the display (for example 92 dB)
d - If there is such that the value is 3 dB lower than the first measure, then simply set the switch
to + and the encoder wheel on 3dB to add 3 dB.
The display will then show 92dB + 3dB = 95 dB, and it is the value that you want to display.
This applies to any value between + / - 9dB.
