5 .2 Connecting the device to the power supply
DANGER
Danger of lethal electric shock!
There is a risk of lethal injury when touching live
components.
f Only connect the device to a properly installed and
standardised socket with grounding.
f Observe the voltage and amperage requirements.
f Do not touch any of the live components.

The printer is equipped with a wide area power unit. The
device can be operated with a supply voltage of
230 V~/50 Hz or 115 V~/60 Hz without adjustment.
Proceed as follows:
1 Check that the power switch is in the "0" position.
2 Plug the power cable into the power connection socket.
3 Plug the power cable into a grounded socket.

malfunctions during operations.

1 Connect the device according to the "Configuration
instructions".

5 .4 Switching the device on and off
Proceed as follows:
1 Check that all connections have been made.
2 Switch the device on using the power switch.
3 The device automatically performs a system test.
4 The device shows the system status READY on the
display or
