5.2.2 Changing the unit of measurement in the display
(version /-S12 and /-S44) with temperature monitoring type "D"
Unlock the key pad
Press
3 horizontal lines will appear in the position of the fi rst and
third digits, and the second digit position will count down
from 9 to 0.
The next display appears.
Now the keys can be released.
On the next display press the
temperature indication between degrees Celsius and
degrees Fahrenheit.
5.2.3 Setting the switching function and switching hysteresis
(only for temperature display with switching outputs = TC ... D 1.x /-S12...)
TWO parameter menus are assigned to each switching output in the menu.
For the fi rst switching output there are for example the menus 1o0 and 1o1.
Here 1o0 denotes the reset point (RESET) of output 1 and 1o0 denotes the set
point (SET) of output 1.
By imputing both parameters separately, it is possible to set a switch
hysteresis of almost any size for the appropriate switch output. In addition it is
possible to alter the switching function of the output from NO to NC
by swapping the values of the set point (SET) and the reset point (RESET).
Example 1:
For 1o0 (RESET) the value 40 is set.
For 1o1 (SET) the value 45 is set.
Result:
Output 1 closes with rising temperature at 45 °C and does not re-open again
until the temperature has fallen to 40 °C.
Switching function: NO with rising temperature!
Example 2:
For 1o0 (RESET) the value 45 is set.
For 1o1 (SET) the value 40 is set.
Result:
Output 1 opens with rising temperature at 45 °C and does not close again until
the temperature has fallen to 40 °C.
Switching function: NC with rising temperature!
