C) By—Pass Procedure
1.
Gradually open the by-pass valve 'C' to allow the air to by-pass the dryer.
2.
Gradually close 'SHUT OFF' valves 'A' and 'B' fully.
3.
Wait until the dryer has depressurised, indicated by the pressure gauges.
4.
A small amount of pressure* may remain in the outlet chamber.
5.
Turn the external electrical isolator to the 'OFF' position.
*
This pressure must be released by slackening the outlet connection prior to undertaking maintenance work on the
dryer.
