Usage
The scooter is operated by repeatedly
kicking off with a foot.
R 1: The vehicle does not have any
brakes.
R 03/ R 03L: To brake, push down on
the rear-wheel kick foot brake.
R 07L: To brake, use the brake lever on the
handlebars. This controls the V brake on
the rear wheel.
R 2002L: To brake, use the right brake lever
(controls the drum brake on the rear wheel)
or the left brake lever (controls the V brake
on the front wheel).
The braking equipment may become hot when
used constantly. The brake should not be
touched after the braking procedure - risk of
burning!
It is necessary to wear closed shoes. When
using the scooters, PUKY recommends the
wearing of adequate protection clothing, i.e.
helmet, gloves, knee- and elbow-protectors.
The vehicle must not be driven in the vicinity
of stairs, slopes, steep terrain, swimming
pools, or other bodies of water. Stairs in the
vicinity must be secured to prevent children
from riding up or down them on the vehicle.
R 1: Attention: Protective equipment
required. Not for use in road traffic. Max. 20 kg.
R 03/ R 03L: Attention: Protective equipment
required. Not for use in road traffic. Max. 50 kg.
R 07L/ R 2002L: Protective equipment requi-
red. Not for use in road traffic. Max. 100 kg.

Damages caused by inappropriate use, the

effects of force, insufficient maintenance or
due to normal wear and tear are excluded
from the liability of material defects.
CE mark
This product (R 1/ R 03/ R 03L) complies with
the European Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC
and therefore bears the CE mark.
R 07L / R 2002L are leisure time equipment
according to EN 14619 cat. A and no toys
(no CE-identification mark).
Type label
The type label is attached to the underside of
the rear frame. Please record the information
on the identification plate in the cycle passport
at the end of this manual so that you have
all the information you need in the event of
any questions or when ordering spare parts.
Maintenance and care
Examine the vehicle at regular intervals for
any wear, and to check that the screws are
still properly tightened. Self-tightening nuts are
hard to loosen and must be replaced after
complete disassembly!
When adjusting the handlebar height, please
take care that min. 60 mm of the handlebar
remain in the fork. Check all parts regularly for
possible wear and tear and that all screw con-
nections and protective equipment (e.g. stand
caps) are secure. Pay particular attention
to the torsional strength of the handle bar
and the correct positioning of the screws.
