Lubricating the Pusher Axle
Push the carriage to one side and clean the axle with

a dry cloth.
Lubricate the axle surface with grease suitable for use

in food preparation areas.
Push the carriage backwards and forwards several

times to distribute the grease evenly.
Note: Ensure you use a grease that is suitable for use in a food preparation area.

Probable Cause
The unit is not switched on
Plug and lead are damaged
Fuse in the plug has blown
Power supply
Internal wiring fault
Blade cover securing screw is
not properly inserted
The carriage has been
improperly fitted
Blade is blunt
Carriage knob
Pusher axle
Action
Check the unit is plugged in correctly
and switched on
Call BUFFALO agent or qualified
technician
Replace the plug fuse
Check power supply
Call BUFFALO agent or qualified
technician
Remove plate securing screw and
screw back in
Unscrew the carriage knob, check the
carriage is properly in place then
replace the carriage knob
Sharpen the blade
