The values set by the welding supervisor (welding process
and secondary parameters) cannot be changed. The arc
dynamics can only be changed by 30 % and the main pa-
rameters by 10 %.

Startup menu (Customizing)
The Startup menu contains additional functions, processes,
operating modes and special programs.
As soon as the machine starts, you will be able

to call up the machine service data using a
NFC-compatible mobile phone and send it by
entering an email address.
 Turn off the equipment using the main switch.
 Hold down the Menu button A2 and switch the device on
at the same time using the main switch.
or
 Press the Craterfill/Menu/Exit buttons A2 and the Weld
Method button A32 simultaneously for 3 seconds.
9 The NFC active LED lights up and nFc Act is shown on the
7-segment displays A4 and A12.
9 You can now hold a mobile phone against the NFC read
surface A43.
This will display the machine service data on the phone.
 Press any key to jump to the Startup Menu.
Partial control panel brightness
 Use the rotary knob A41 to select the desired code br7,
brU or brP.
 Select the desired brightness with the control knob A44.
 Save the set value by pressing the Save button A14.
The brightness of the following control panel areas can be
set.

Adding welding processes/operating modes
(upgrades)
 If necessary, expand your welding device with an addition-
al welding process. To do this, read in the appropriate NFC
card using the NFC read surface A43.
 Use the rotary knob A41 to select the ASP code.

 Using the Welding process button A32 or Mode button
A33, select the desired process or operating mode slot.
 Use the rotary knob A44 to select the desired welding pro-
cess or operating mode.

 Confirm the master reset by pressing the Save button A14.
Service Release Code
The Service Release Code (r00 to r15) is used, for example, for
manual enabling of the device, when theft protection is acti-
vated or if the user card has been lost.
