MAINTENANCE

WARNING: Always disconnect the vacuum
cleaner plug from the wall outlet before removing the
tank cover.
IMPORTANT! This filter is manufactured from high qual-

vacuuming dust it is necessary that the filter is dry other-

or installing it. Inspect the filter for tears or small holes
as even a small hole will let the dust in and out of the
cleaner. Do not use a filter with holes or tears but have it
replaced immediately.
INSTALLING AND CLEANING THE PLEATED
POLYESTER FILTER
▪ Slide the pleated polyester filter onto the filter basket
and push it the whole way down (Fig.39, Fig.40).
▪ When removing the filter for cleaning hold the filter
carefully to avoid damaging it (Fig.41).
▪ A dry pleated polyester filter is cleaned by tapping it
over a waste bin.
▪ A wet pleated polyester filter is cleaned by rinsing it
from the inside (Fig.42).
▪ When the pleated polyester filter is wet it should be
removed and allowed to dry on air for 24 hours before
fitting it into the basket again.
