10. Cleaning

Before cleaning, pull the plug out of the mains socket. Clean the external surfac-
es of the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemical solutions or cleaning
agents because these may damage the device's surface or the labels on it.

Never allow liquids to get inside the device.
11. Troubleshooting
If a fault occurs, first see whether you can resolve the problem yourself. You might
find this overview useful.

Decrease the volume, both on
the alarm clock and on the ex-
ternal device (if connected)
Check whether the correct
alarm time has been set.
Check whether the alarm has
been activated.
