The particulate sensor should be cleaned
regularly (roughly every two months) in
order to ensure that the device works in
the optimum way.
1. Press the locking lug towards the pro-
tective cover (
take off the protective cover.
2. Clean the sensor (
inlet (
) and outlet (
with a damp cloth or cotton bud
(
).
3. Then dry everything with a dry cloth
or cotton bud.
4. Insert the protective cover into the
main unit ( ). You must hear and feel
it engage.
Please Note!
The UV-C lamp will become hot
during use. Allow the UV-C lamp to
cool suffi ciently after using the device.
There is a danger of burns!
1. Take the front cover ( ) off the main
unit ( ).
2. Remove the fi lters from the main unit.
3. Wipe down the UV-C lamp ( ) with a
dry duster.
Make sure that you do
not touch the UV-C lamp with your
fi ngers!
4. Reassemble the device. When you do
this, ensure the correct sequence of
the combination fi lter ( ) and alumini-
um pre-fi lter ( ) (see the "Before Initial
Use" chapter).

The device must be kept operationally
ready. It indicates via the Replace Filters
display (
) if the fi lters need to be
replaced. The intervals at which the fi lters
need to be replaced depend on the air
quality and the frequency of use of the
device.

1. Grasp the top end on both sides be-
tween the main unit ( ) and the front
cover ( ).
2. Press against the housing with your
thumbs, then detach and remove the
front cover from the main unit.
3. First pull the aluminium pre-fi lter ( )
and then the combination fi lter ( ) out
of the main unit by the loop.
4. Insert a new combination fi lter into
the main unit. When you do this,
make sure that the loop and thus the
blue side is pointing forwards.
5. Insert a new aluminium pre-fi lter into
the main unit. When you do this,
make sure that the side with the loop
is pointing forwards.
6. First insert the front cover with the
locking lugs at the bottom into the
recesses on the main unit, and then
press it against the main unit at the
top. You must hear and feel it engage.
7. Switch on the device and reset the
replace fi lter reminder by touching
the
fi eld (
).
