Moving the appliance
• Remove all foodstuffs.
• Turn the levelling screws to avoid any damage. Keep
the door closed.
• When moving the appliance, make sure that it remains
upright during transport.
Saving energy
• The appliance should be placed in the coolest part of
the room, away from all heat sources and heating
pipes, and should not be placed in direct sunlight.
• Allow hot foods to cool to an ambient temperature
before putting them in the freezer.
• If you overfill the appliance, the compressor works for
longer. Food that freezes slowly can have impaired
quality and become spoilt.
• Take care when wrapping food and dry containers
before putting them in the appliance. This will prevent
ice forming.
• Drawers should not be covered with aluminium foil.
This can interfere with the circulation of cold air and
affect the performance of the appliance.
