To check the correct operation of the oil pump, turn on the chainsaw and check if
there are traces of oil on the ground below.
If there are no traces of oil, check to have refilled the tank.
If there are no traces of oil with the tank full, contact the service center.
Warning!
Do not use the chainsaw if the oil pump is not working properly.
15.6 PINION AND BAR INSPECTION
•
Disconnect the battery from the chainsaw.
•
Use the Allen key supplied to unscrew the two locking nuts (1) and remove the
cover (2).
•
Remove the chain and the bar.
•
Measure the depth of the chain groove using a depth gauge.
•
If the depth of the groove exceeds 0.5 mm, do not use the chainsaw and
contact the service center to replace the pinion of the chain.
•
Measure the depth of the pinion of the chain slot using a depth gauge.
•
If the depth is less than 1.1mm, if the bar is damaged or the slot is deformed,
replace the bar to avoid damaging the chain and the chainsaw.
