No liability is accepted for damages caused by faulty or improp-
er installation, commissioning or operation, failure to perform
the specified maintenance, exposure to undue loads or any
unauthorized changes to the structure of the door. Original
spare parts only must be used when adding to, or modifying the
doors or when replacing parts in the course of maintenance or
repair works. The same applies to any damage caused during
transportation, by force majeure, foreign objects, natural wear
and tear, or atmospheric influences.
The warranty also lapses in the event of failure to observe our
installation and operating and maintenance instructions.
No liability is accepted if unauthorised changes or repair work
are carried out on functional parts or additional filling weight is
added.
The surface warranty for all door leaves with final coating in
original colour that are installed in Germany extends to the
adhesion of the colour and/or foil, corrosion protection, and fade
resistance. Slight changes in colour that can occur over time
are excluded from the warranty. Doors and door surfaces in
coastal areas are subject to aggressive climate influences and
require appropriate additional protection. Any and all flaws or
defects arising as a result of damage to the product, such as
abrasion, mechanical or wilful damage, soiling and improper
cleaning, are excluded from this warranty.
In the case of base coated doors, the top coat must be applied
on site within three months from the date of delivery. Small
surface flaws, minor corrosion, dust inclusions or surface
scratches on base coated doors do not constitute grounds for
complaint since they will disappear once the surface is sanded
and the top coat applied.
Exposure to direct sunlight may cause dark paint or foil surfaces
to bend, and functionality may be impaired.
Our products are subject to technical alterations in the course of
product modifications, changes in colours or materials, or im-
provements to production processes, which may alter their
appearance; such alterations are deemed conditionally ac-
ceptable when replacing parts under warranty.
Any faults must be communicated to us in writing immediately,
and the parts concerned must be sent to us upon request. We
will not bear any costs of removal, installation, freight or post-
age. In the event that a complaint ultimately proves to be unjus-
tified, we reserve the right to charge the costs incurred.
This guarantee is only valid together with the signed invoice
and starts on the day of delivery.
Keep these installation, operating, and maintenance instructions in a safe place during the entire service life of the garage door!
