Main unit set-up
To use the main unit, follow the steps below to set the initial settings.
1. Pull out the insulation sheet
Open the battery cover of the main unit and pull out the insulation sheet.
Then, close the battery cover.
2. Formatting / restarting operations
This computer has two different all-clear options, formatting and restarting.
Formatting is required during the initial set-up, and when all items of data
are to be reset to zero (including total time, total distance, and settings).

Press the MENU and the RESTART button si-
multaneously, and release the RESTART button

2. Formatage / relance des opérations
Cet ordinateur a deux options différentes d'initialisation, formatages et relance.
Le formatage est exigé pendant la toute première installation de l'ordina-
teur, et lorsque tous les éléments des données doivent être remis à l'état
initial à zéro (temps total y compris, distance totale, et configurations).
After making sure that all items have been displayed, release the MENU button.
After 5 seconds, the screen moves to the "Selecting the measuring unit" screen
described in the next section.
Après avoir vérifié que tous les éléments s'affichent, libérez le bouton MENU.
Après 5 secondes, l'écran change à celui de la "Sélection de l'unité de mesure"
