6.2 PRELIMINARY INSTALLATION
NOTE
The following operations must compulsorily be performed before
installing the fan onto a wall or frame of a machine.
1. In the case of a pre-assembled machine, take the cable guide
from the bag containing the User Manual and manually insert it
into the hole on the side panel as shown below.
2. Open the air inlet side safety nets.
3. Route the motor cable through the previously installed cable
guide.
NOTE
After finishing the operation, make sure that the motor cable
has been completely pulled out and that it is intact and shows
no cuts and/or deformations.
4. Re-close the safety nets.
5. With the motor cable removed and the safety nets locked,
proceed with the installation.

6.3 INSTALLATION OF THE FAN
The extractor fan must be mounted in a perfectly vertical
position and can be fixed to the structure of the room by means of
M8 screws (not supplied) to be inserted into the threaded bushes
of which the bodywork is provided.
Prepare a square hole in the
wall of 10 mm wider than the
dimensions of the fan in order
to allow easy insertion.
For proper installation of the
fan on the wall, the fixing kit is
available upon request, which
permits to use fixing elements
that are easily applicable
to the side panels of the
machine using M8 screws to
be inserted in the threaded
inserts.
The fixing profiles can be
applied to top and bottom
panels of the machine through
the use of self-tapping screws.
For fixing on the wall,
it is not recommended to
use expansion foam since
compressing the fan causes
deformation of the structure
and the consequent failure of
the opening shutter.
In case of actual need
for use of expansion foam,
insert the expansion product
between the support and
the bodywork of the fan for a
length of up to about 20 cm
starting from the edge, as
indicated in the figure.
WARNING
The fan must be installed so that the cover plates can be easily
removed to enable maintenance and cleaning operations.
