STEP 2: Positioning the glass panels on the top compartment
WARNING: although quite rigid, the preassembled
glass panels must be handled with care to avoid
breakage.
Place the preassembled glass panels on the top
compartment by inserting the glass panels into the U
supports positionned on the top compartment: this is a
very delicate operation that must be carried out with
utmost care.
WARNING: the glass panels cannot withstand heavy
weights or sudden thermal changes.

ASSEMBLING THE GLASS PANELS FOR SHELVES L=2590

Check your package for the following parts (see figures on next pages)
2 Upper glass panels, 10mm width (A);
2 Front glass panels, 6mm width (B);
2 Side glass panels, 6mm width (C);
2 3-joint fasteners (D);
6 2-joint fasteners (E);
14 plastic washers (F);
20 screws (G) and relative transparent rubber washers (H);
2 fixing plates for the glass panels (I);
1 supporting frame for the glass panels (L);
3 self-tapping screws (M);
2 M3 nuts (N);
U-shaped supporting parts are pre-fixed on the shelves.
CAUTION: Careful attention is required to avoid damaging of the glass panels.
To ensure proper assembling, follow the steps in order, as reported in this manual.
STEP 1: Preassembling the glass panels;
STEP 2: Fixing the supporting frame on the shelves;
STEP 3: Placing the glass panels on the shelves.
STEP 1: Preassembling the glass panels (see next figures)
Before placing the glass panels on the shelves
they should be preassembled in order to provide
a frame to place on the shelves. As for these
shelves, right and left glass panels should be
assembled in the same way. To assemble,
perform as follows:
after inserting the six washers (F) in the
relative holes, fasten parts (D) and (E) to the
Upper glass panel (A) with the (G) screws.
Please, note that the (D) parts should be
fastened using the holes 37mm from the
glass edge, whereas the (E) parts should be
fastened using the holes 41mm from the
opposite edge
After placing a rubber washer (H) between
the glass panel and a screw, fasten the two
