Guarantee

addresses) or your retailer.
For repair and guarantee processing, please include the following documents when you
send in the device:
A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
A reason for the claim or description of the fault

Troubleshooting checklist
Feature
The device does not switch on
after connection to the 12 V
vehicle socket (the blue LED
(fig. 1 1, page 3) does not
light up).
The blue LED flashes
(fig. 1 1, page 3).
The device switches on and
off repeatedly.
The inverter switches off when
the consumer is switched on.

Possible cause
The cigarette lighter is
switched on via the ignition.
The vehicle battery voltage is
less than 10.8 V.
The device has overheated.
The fuse (in the 12 V plug or
the vehicle) is defective.
The battery voltage is below
10.8 V.
When under load, there is
poor contact in the 12 V
vehicle socket.
The constant load is too high
(the consumer unit has a
power consumption of more
than 120 W).
The starting current of the
consumer is too high.
Guarantee
Remedy
Switch the vehicle ignition on.
Charge the vehicle battery (start
the engine).
Switch off the consumer unit, allow
the inverter to cool down and
ensure better ventilation.
Have an electrician replace the
fuse.
Charge the vehicle battery (start
the engine).
Clean the contacts.
Reduce the constant load.
Compare the device power with the
maximum power of the inverter.
