Do not fully tighten. Do not place

and housing.

Once secured, you will hear a click. This means the carrier rack is
secured to the mount.
2. Slide the loose mount up or down until there is about 6"
between rear wheel and bottom of carrier. Be sure mount is
centered along rear wheel facing forward.

up, down, or side to side.
4. Tighten fasteners securely, and check them frequently.

loosen accordingly.
3. Loop security strap webbing
around seat post.
CHILD CARRIER REMOVAL
1. Unclip the security strap.
2. Pull knob out and twist until carrier
clamp loosens the seat.
WARNING

STANDARD BIKE RACK MOUNTING

The Super Shell can be secured to and removed from most
standard bicycle racks by following the steps in the Seat
Attachment and Seat Removal sections. The mount and carrier
rack included do not need to be installed for this configuration.
WARNING
A standard bicycle rack must have a load rating of 40 pounds
or greater to be used with the child carrier. Failure to properly
attach clamp onto the carrier rack could result in seat falling off
the carrier rack.

SEAT PAD INSTALLATION

Place seat pad into bottom of child carrier. Thread retention
harness through seat pad. Insert all four seat pad plugs into the
bottom of the child carrier.

FOOT REST INSTALLATION

To insert foot rest, insert top hook into preferred height. Slide
bottom tab into slot and pinch both together at the same time
while pushing the foot rest into place. Pull at them gently to
ensure they are secured properly. To remove foot rest, pinch
the hook and tab at the same time and pull up, freeing the
bottom tab. Then pull the top hook free.

FOOT STRAP ATTACHMENT

1. Loop one piece of Velcro
through each foot rest and attach
®
back onto itself.
2. Insert top hooks of foot rests into opening along leg. Must be
at least three notches from bottom. Push to lower tabs
through respective opening and click into place. Lower hook
tabs need to be lifted slightly when inserted into slot.

OSCILLATING GRAB BAR

While riding, the grab bar can be used in either the forward or
back locking positions. Push both round buttons on each side
of bars to pivot front or back until it clicks into place.

CHILD CARRIER ADJUSTMENT

Child carrier should be positioned as far forward as practical.
WARNING
Positioning the child carrier too far back will increase the risk of
loss of steering and/or braking control.

SEATING YOUR CHILD

WITH ONE PERSON HOLDING THE BICYCLE STEADY, THE
SECOND PERSON PLACES CHILD IN CHILD CARRIER.
Adjust harness to child's height. If child's shoulders are at or
below the lower strap slot holes, move the harness to the lower
holes. Push the plastic washer that hold the ends of the harness
out through the holes. Fasten buckles accordingly.
