2. Warranty
The product comes with a 12-month warranty. The terms of the warranty require that all use, maintenance and other circumstances must
be in compliance with the purchase agreement, and that the product has been handled in accordance with this manual. For any defects
discovered during the warranty period, NL17, items 24-37, will apply. For some components, HeatWork may demand that the component
be examined/assessed for warranty and/or repaired.
HeatWork's warranty and liability is limited to defects in the actual product and does not extend to other circumstances/damage.
This includes any consequential errors/damage as a result of the defect affecting the buyer and/or any third party. The use of unoriginal
components and/or other heating mediums (fluids) voids the warranty. The same applies if the customer has performed work on or
modified the product in any way.
3. Product description
CliWi heat exchangers are mobile heating units designed for dehumidification/climate control of buildings, events, construction projects.
When the appropriate air filter is installed in the unit, the CliWi will also work as an air cleaner.
CliWi operates using waterborne heating and is designed for versatile, fully automatic and problem-free operation. CliWi has a quiet, solid
and powerful fan, ensuring good and effective air flow. CliWi produces hot air by using a powerful fan to cause air to flow through a heat
exchanger, where hot fluid is circulating.
CliWi has a sturdy aluminium frame and consists of a fan and a heat exchanger. CliWi HB 300 and CliWi HB 500 has to filter cartridges (G4
or F7) and can be installed with a ventilation filter and an air distributor.
4. Getting started
1. Remove all packaging material from the CliWi. Make sure no packaging material is blocking the air intake or outlet.
2. Place the CliWi on a flat surface.
3. Lock the wheels so it does not roll (HB 300 and HB 500).
4. Minimum distance from the wall: 0.5 m.
5. If connecting to an energy source that is not a HeatWork unit, please contact qualified personnel.
6. Connect the power cable to a power supply with earth-fault protection.
7. Make sure flow and return hoses are connected correctly.
8. When starting the system for the first time, place CliWi vertically to bleed the exchanger (HC 300 and HC 500).
Pinch the return hose, interrupting the circulation, before quickly releasing it again.
Repeat this process a few times; you have successfully bled the system.
9. Check for leaks after starting the system.
10. Turn the power switch to speed I or II.
11. The HB 300 and HB 500 have temperature controls, making it possible to adjust the ambient temperature between 0 and 60°C.
12. CliWi is a frostproof hydronic heating system using HW HTF (contact distributor). The use of any other fluid may void the warranty.
13. For optimal drying and heating, please give the unit a central location in the space.
14. It is important to keep the fan running continuously for optimal drying and heating results.
5. Shutting down
1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Disconnect the drip-free quick coupling on the flow hose.
3. Disconnect the drip-free quick coupling on the return hose.
4. The CliWi is frostproof and ready for transport and storage.
5. If unoriginal heat-transporting fluid is used, the CliWi needs additional frost-proofing.
Use compressed air to flush the system of this fluid, e.g. water, and fill the system with HW HTF.
6. Function and operation
1. Use the power switch/plug to start and stop the fan.
2. Use the thermostat to adjust the desired ambient temperature.
3. Replace filter as needed. Note: When the filter is clogged, efficiency is reduced.
To replace filter: open cover and replace filter. Then close cover.
