1. Safety information
IMPORTANT: Please read and make sure you understand all precautions and instructions in this manual before you use your CliWi.
Keep this manual readily available for future use.
• When using electrical appliances, be sure to comply with the
following basic precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock and personal injury.
• Use necessary protective equipment, such as protective goggles
and gloves.
• The system is not equipped with EX-certified fans, and the
system must therefore never be used in an explosive
environment.
• The system is designed to be used indoors or under cover and
must not be exposed to water. See also the IP code for each
system.
• Keep out of reach of children. CliWi is intended for use by
qualified individuals only.
• Keep hair, loose-fitting clothes, fingers and other body parts
away from the air intake and outlet.
• The system fan operates on electricity. Please take precautions
to prevent electric shock when using electric equipment.
• In order to prevent dangerous situations caused by
inadvertently resetting the thermal cut-out, this device must
not be connected to an external switch, such as a time switch,
or a circuit regularly switched on and off by the device.
• Before operating the equipment, make sure you know how to
shut the CliWi down in an emergency.
• Never block the air intake or air inlet while the machine is
running.

• Never insert objects through the fan cover. Always use the
specified voltage and frequency.
• Make sure all cables are protected against short-circuiting and
overloading at all times.
• Always check electrical cables for any damage.
Replace if necessary.
• Always disconnect the CliWi from the power supply after use.
• Never pull or carry the CliWi by the power cable.
• Must not be used for ventilation of harmful, explosive,
flammable or volatile gases, smoke or substances.
• Do not use the CliWi if damaged. The CliWi must be maintained
by qualified personnel or service provider.
• During operation, make sure no unsecured objects are whirled
up. Minimum distance from wall: 0.5 metres.
• Warning! The heat exchanger may be extremely hot.
• When connecting/disconnecting, the system must be
depressurized, and the fluid temperature must not exceed 60°C.
• Hoses may be approx. 100 degrees and may pose a risk of burns
or damage. Take care to place hoses where they cannot injure
people or damage the floor or any other property.
• Use only original hoses and couplings, and make sure to follow
the instructions.
• When using extension cables, be sure to only use cables
certified and labelled for outdoor use.
