5. Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
5.1 - If the green indicator light (5b) does
not come on when the irrigator compres-
sor body is placed on the recharger base
5.2 - Nebulisation is poor or too short
5.3 - The nasal irrigator does not nebu-
lise
5.4 - The nasal irrigator stops nebulisa-
tion (turns off) during operation.
NOTE: Should the unit again fail to operate after following the above instructions, please contact your local
dealer or an authorised service centre.
Check that the power cord is properly plugged into the power socket.
Check the electric socket by plugging another appliance into it.
Check for faults in the power cord or the plug. In the event of a fault, always
contact your retailer or an authorised service centre.
The batteries could be almost flat, recharge the nasal irrigator for at least 24
hours.
Check that the atomiser (3) is set properly in place.
Check that the nasal irrigator is clean and, if not, carry out the cleaning opera-
tions; carefully follow the Cleaning, Sanitization, Disinfection and Sterilization
instructions contained in the manual.
The batteries could be almost flat, recharge the nasal irrigator for at least 24
hours.
Check that the solution has been properly poured into the nebulisation chamber
(4a).
Make sure that the quantity of liquid does not exceed 15 ml.
When using medication per aerosol therapy, make sure it is diluted correctly with
saline solution 0.9% (as prescribed by your doctor).
Check that the nasal irrigator is clean and, if not, carry out the cleaning opera-
tions; carefully follow the Cleaning, Sanitization, Disinfection and Sterilization
instructions contained in the manual.
This means that the thermal protection device inside the nasal irrigator has
tripped, probably due to an overload. Allow the irrigator to cool down for a few
minutes then push the button to turn the irrigator back on. Allow to cool for at
least 10 minutes.
Check that the nasal irrigator is clean and, if not, carry out the cleaning opera-
tions; carefully follow the Cleaning, Sanitization, Disinfection and Sterilization
instructions contained in the manual.
